UHOLDEAK

2011-Ko azaroaren 10ean Tolosa eta inguruko herrietan uholdeak egon ziren. Gure baratzean estropizio handiak egon ziren, landare asko hondaturik bukatu zuten.

    

       Floods 

There were floods  in  Tolosa and   the   surrounding  towns in the  10^th of November 2011.  There were  big damages in our  harvest , many  plants finished  drowned.

Uholdeak izan ondoren hau da landatu genuena: Ilarrak, letxuk, eskarolak, batxurik, tipulinak azelgak, atxikoria eta repollua landatu genituen gure baratza txikian.

When the floods passed, this is what we planted : lettuces, peas, endives, garlics, chicory, scallion, Swiss chard and cabbages in our small harvest.

Eskolako belaze handian ostoak biltzen egon ginen konposta egiteko asmoz. 6-7 zaku bildu genituen. Denak hosto lehorrez beteak.

In the big fields of our  school we recollected leaves fallen from the trees, for the heap. We recollected them in 6-7 plastic garbage bags. They were full of dry leaves.

                                  

Ostegunean bertan landatu genituen ilarrak eta babak baina Azaroa erdikaldeko aste-bukaerako uholdeetan, urak haziak eraman zituela pentsatu genuen baina orain konprobatu dugu  haziak oraindik bertan daudela, eta orain hazten ari direla.

In this Thursday we plant peas and  broad beans but the floods of the November we think that took away  the seeds. But now we check that the seedes are there, and they are growing.

Gure baratzean, hainbat barazki landatu dira, era ekologikoan: hauen artean, tomateak, berenjenak, porruak, gindillak, piper berdea, tipuliñak, letxugak eta eskarolak, landatu eta jan ditugu.

 We have planted some plants and vegetables, following in ecological way in our garden: Among these we have planted and eaten, tomatoes, eggplants, joints, chillies, green peppers, onions, lettuces and escaroles.

This is the situation of our garden, There will be better vegetable gardens, but  worse ones, too.
